The total number of treatments varies based on the fineness, coarseness and the thickness of the hair shaft and treatment area. Typically, anywhere from 8-12 treatments are recommended.

The treatments can feel similar to a quick rubber band snapping against the skin. Depending on the procedure,

Typically, you can wear make-up and return to normal activities immediately. Redness and/or swelling can be expected following treatment. Treated brown spots will darken following the treatment and slough off within 3 to 5 days.

Warts (or verruca) can be treated with vascular lasers – typically at higher energy settings and shorter pulse durations than veins. Warts may need to be debrided (pared down) prior to treatment. Warts can be successfully treated with the lasers. Multiple treatments may be required.
The results to treat warts with laser treatments were achieved in 85.5% of the laser treated cases.
It depends on the type of laser and wavelength used to remove warts. The light heats up the blood in the tiny vessels inside the wart and destroys the vessels. Without blood, the wart dies and falls off. The laser’s heat may also attack the virus that causes the wart.
There are several reasons that warts may grow back. First, the wart may not have been entirely removed with the original wart treatment option, and it may continue growing. Second, if an incision was made to remove the wart, the incision may become re-infected with HPV, thus causing the growth of a new wart.
The most common side effects include dark crusty appearance, redness and swelling. Occasionally a blister may occur. These side effects typically are mild and resolve in 7-14 days.
After the treatment you may experience a tingling sensation where the laser was used, but most do not feel anything. The wart will usually turn a dusky colour that progresses to a dark colour. Over the next 2-3 weeks the wart will fall off. You will be completely healed within 2-4 weeks.
